Two-route oil supply from two journals secures crankpin an enough amount of oil supply. Moreover, X shape oil passage enables supplying oil using the centrifugal force of a crankshaft; reliability of the oil supply at high RPM is improved. Counter weight has its original shape that is designed with theoretical analysis, to secure the proper rate of balance (rate which negates the inertia power of a reciprocating movement) while reducing its weight.
At high RPM, counterweight rotates at more than 200km/h inside the crankcase through the oil and air. We designed the edge shape of the counterweight hydro-dynamically sharp so that less resistance will occur even at high rotation.
We selected chrome moly steel as a material (STD: regular steel) and forge it in the mold to improve the organization of crystal. As a result, Ômetal flowÕ is formed along with the shape of crankshaft that gives 2times more strength to the metal than before.
